Dr. Wegmann received his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2001. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at LSU as well.
Dr. Wegmann has been practicing in Metairie, Louisiana since 2007. He is a member of several GI societies including the AGA, ASGE and the ACG and is Board Certified in gastroenterology.
